Concerts, Workshops, and Conference Appearances in 2007
August 5-11 and 12-19: HARP STUDY PROGRAM 2007 - COLORADO
The Harp Study Program features a full-immersion week of instruction for all levels of skill (and all ages) from absolute beginners through intermediate, advanced, and professional. Separate classes will be taught for each skill level, with special children's classes.
No student left behind! We will also bring all the students together for special fun sessions.
Classes are taught by two of today's noted performers and teachers, Laurie Riley and Margot Krimmel.
Dates: August 5 - 12 and/or 12-19 - you may register for one week or both weeks.
Location: the beautiful High Peak Camp, 7075 Highway 7, Estes Park, Colorado. The Harp Study Program
The program is designed to expose students to intensive instruction in:
Basic and advanced techniques
Repertoire
Ensemble playing
Left Hand Development
Ornamentation
Arranging and Composing
Ear Training
Chords and Harmonies
Healthcare music repertoire styles
fun sessions for the whole group
Evening Activities: students in our program will also be able to enjoy the same extensive after-class program as all other music students at RMFC. This includes daily jam sessions, contra- and square dances, and faculty concerts.
